Description
Our Engineering department is now creating a strong foundation of skills and we are therefore looking for a Lead engineer – Fuel system & Air induction. The Lead engineer primarily collaborates internally with project leaders and development engineers. External communication involves system suppliers (Tier 1) and engineering service providers.
This role is also expected to:
- Support the Purchasing and supplier quality departments in supplier
assessments/reviews.
- Setting technical requirements and specifications, for related parts.
- Be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of verification
and validation methodologies and procedures for induction and fuel related
parts.
- Support the powertrain and chassis engineering and development
organization with theoretical and practical knowledge on air induction and
fuel systems.
- Be responsible for component performance through the complete product
development lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain internal and external networks with air induction and
fuel systems expertise.
- Lead and plan design activities to meet target dates.
- Identify opportunities and/or implement changes to improve products,
processes or reduce cost.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant experience in the work area, 5-10 years, preferably in the
automotive industry.
- University engineering education, bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
- Drivers license B
You master English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
To be successful in this role, you need to:
- Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of vehicle development
processes, particularly in a CV (Conventional vehicle) context.
- Have a thorough understanding of induction and fuel systems.
- Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded.
- Have good communication skills.
- Have a solution oriented approach and ability to adapt to new challenges.
- Have ability to plan and prioritize tasks.
- Be willing to travel frequently.
Terms
National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
